Short Information:
Eklavya Model Residential School (EMRS), under the National Education Society for Tribal Students (NESTS), has released the official notification for the recruitment of Teaching and Non-Teaching posts including Principal, PGT, TGT, Staff Nurse, Hostel Warden, Accountant, Junior Secretariat Assistant (JSA), and Lab Attendant. A total of 7267 vacancies have been announced under Advertisement No. NESTS/Adv/2025/01.

The online application process has already started on 19 September 2025 and will continue until 23 October 2025. Eligible candidates can apply through the official website of EMRS. The minimum age required is 30 years, and the maximum age is 50 years (post-wise) as on 01 August 2025. Eligibility Criteria

1. Principal

  • Master’s Degree in any subject with B.Ed. qualification.
  • Minimum 12 years of teaching experience required.

2. TGT (Trained Graduate Teacher)

  • Bachelor’s Degree in relevant subject with at least 50% marks.
  • B.Ed. qualification mandatory.
  • Must have passed STET or CTET Paper II.

3. PGT (Post Graduate Teacher) Master’s Degree in relevant subject with at least 50% marks along with B.Ed. degree.

  • For candidates with 4-year integrated degree course, B.Ed. is not required.

4. Staff Nurse (Female)

  • B.Sc. Nursing or Post Basic Nursing.
  • Registered with State Nursing Council.
  • Minimum 2.5 years of work experience required.

5. Hostel Warden

  • Bachelor’s Degree in any stream.

6. Accountant

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce (B.Com) from a recognized university.

7. Junior Secretariat Assistant (JSA)

  • Passed 10+2 Intermediate examination.
  • Typing speed of 35 WPM in English or 30 WPM in Hindi required.

8. Lab Attendant

  • Passed 10th with Certificate/Diploma in Laboratory Technique OR
  • Passed 10+2 Intermediate with Science stream.

Mode of Selection

The selection process for EMRS Teaching/ Non-Teaching posts will be conducted as follows:

  • Written Examination (Objective-type, post-wise syllabus)
  • Skill Test/Practical Test (where applicable, e.g., Stenography/Typing/Nursing)
  • Interview/Document Verification
  • Final Merit List
