Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL), a Navratna Defence Public Sector Undertaking under the Ministry of Defence, has released an official recruitment notification (Advt No. 13704/2/HR/RADAR/GAD/FT/2026) for the post of Deputy Engineer (E-II) on a Fixed Tenure Basis for a period of 5 years. This recruitment drive is aimed at selecting qualified engineering professionals for the RADAR SBU at the Ghaziabad Unit, who will subsequently be assigned to an expatriate posting at Agalega, Mauritius.
Interested candidates can fill out the online application forms starting from 11 August 2026. The deadline to complete the online submission is 04 September 2026. The selected candidates will initially undergo orientation/training at the Ghaziabad Unit before being posted overseas based on project mandates.
Eligibility & Selection Criteria
To be eligible for the Deputy Engineer (E-II) post, candidates must satisfy specific educational, age, and professional guidelines established by BEL:
- Educational Qualification: Candidates must possess an engineering degree (B.E. / B.Tech / B.Sc Engineering / AMIE) from an AICTE approved college/institute or recognised university in relevant disciplines: Electronics, Electronics & Communication, Electronics & Telecommunication, Communication, or Telecommunication.
- Minimum Class Requirement: General and OBC-NCL candidates must have secured First Class marks in their engineering degree. PwBD candidates are subject to standard government relaxed standards.
- Age Limit (as of 01.07.2026): Upper age limit for Unreserved (UR) candidates is 28 years, while OBC-NCL candidates receive relaxation up to 31 years. PwBD and Ex-Servicemen categories are granted age relaxations per GoI mandates.
- Selection Stages: Selection comprises a two-stage evaluation: Written Test (85 Marks) and a structured Interview (15 Marks). Candidates qualifying the written exam with a minimum threshold (35% for GEN/OBC-NCL, 30% for PwBD) will be shortlisted for the interview round in a 1:5 ratio. Written tests and interviews will be conducted strictly in the Delhi (NCR) region.

Eligible candidates can follow the step-by-step procedure given below to submit their applications successfully before the closing date:
- Visit the official BEL website or access the direct online application portal link.
- Locate the advertisement titled "Fixed Tenure Deputy Engineer for RADAR SBU, BEL-Ghaziabad" and read the detailed instructions carefully.
- Fill in personal details, educational qualifications, address, and category details accurately in the registration portal.
- Pay the non-refundable application fee of Rs. 472/- (Rs. 400 + 18% GST) via SBI Collect online payment system (SC/ST/PwBD/ESM candidates are exempt from payment).
- Note down the generated SBI Collect Reference Number and enter it into the designated field in the application form.
- Upload clean scanned copies of required documents including passport size photograph, signature, SSLC/12th marksheets, semester-wise engineering degree marksheets, degree certificate, category certificates, and payment receipt proof.
- Review all entered information carefully before submitting the final application, as no modifications will be permitted after submission. Download and print a copy for future reference.
Important Instructions & Advice
Candidates must ensure they satisfy all eligibility parameters before applying. Only Indian Nationals are eligible. Selected engineers should be prepared for extensive travel or rotational assignments within India or abroad as per operational needs. Candidates currently employed in Government, PSU, or Quasi-Government organisations must submit a No Objection Certificate (NOC) at the time of the interview. Additionally, candidates must possess a valid Indian Passport with at least 6 months of validity remaining at the time of joining for processing international deployment formalities to Agalega, Mauritius.
