Eligibility & Selection Criteria
Candidates applying for the guest faculty roles must meet the academic qualifications and age criteria specified by the Atal Awasiya Vidyalaya Samiti:
- PGT Teachers: Postgraduate Degree in the relevant discipline with at least 50% aggregate marks, provided the subject was studied at the Graduation level. Additionally, a B.Ed. degree with a minimum of 50% marks from an NCTE-recognized institution is mandatory. Proficiency in teaching in both English and Hindi media is required.
- TGT Teachers: Bachelor's Degree / Honors Degree with a minimum of 50% marks in the relevant subject/combination and in total aggregate, along with a B.Ed. degree (50% marks). Candidates must have qualified CTET or UPTET Paper II.
- Age Limit: The upper age limit for applicants is capped at 50 years as of July 01, 2026. Age relaxations apply as per Uttar Pradesh state rules.
- Selection Procedure: Selection will be conducted out of 100 total marks, combining Academic/Professional Merit (75 Marks) and Personal Interaction/Interview (25 Marks). The merit evaluation considers essential degree marks, higher qualifications (M.Ed/M.Phil/Ph.D), teaching experience, and TET performance (for TGT). The interview assesses subject proficiency, communication skills, personality, and ICT capability.
Step-by-Step Application / Download Process
Follow these instructions to complete and submit your application accurately:
- Obtain the official application form by downloading the PDF from the official district website (muzaffarnagar.nic.in) or by visiting the Labour Commissioner's Office.
- Fill out all mandatory sections on the application form, including personal details, educational history, teaching experience, and contact information.
- Gather self-attested photocopies of all educational mark sheets, passing certificates, B.Ed/TET certificates, experience letters, caste certificate, domicile proof, and an official Photo ID.
- Attach 02 self-addressed envelopes affixed with adequate postal stamps for official mailing responses.
- Place all documents in a main envelope and clearly write at the top: “Application for the post of Teacher PGT / TGT (Subject Name) in Atal Awasiya Vidyalaya”.

Important Instructions & Advice
Candidates should ensure that all attached documents are clearly legible and self-attested.
