Eligibility & Selection Criteria
To qualify the Haryana Teacher Eligibility Test, candidates must achieve the category-wise minimum qualifying criteria established by BSEH:
- General / Unreserved Category (and candidates from outside Haryana): Minimum 60% qualifying marks (90 out of 150 marks).
- SC / Differently-Abled Candidates (Haryana Domicile): Minimum 55% qualifying marks (82 out of 150 marks).
- SC / Differently-Abled Candidates (Other States): Minimum 60% qualifying marks (90 out of 150 marks).
The examination features no negative marking scheme. Qualifying candidates will receive an HTET eligibility certificate, which will be valid as per current Haryana State Education Department regulations.
