The Uttar Pradesh Examination Regulatory Authority (UP ERA), Prayagraj, has officially declared the UP DELEd (formerly known as UP BTC) 2026 Seat Allotment Result. Candidates who filled their institute preferences during the online counseling round can now check their allotted college status by logging into the official portal. This allotment result determines seat allocation in both District Institutes of Education and Training (DIET) and private D.El.Ed. institutes across Uttar Pradesh.
Eligibility & Selection Criteria
Admission to the Diploma in Elementary Education course is offered purely on the basis of a state-level merit list prepared from academic performance.
- Educational Qualification: Candidates must hold a Bachelor Degree in Arts, Science, or Commerce from a recognized university with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks (45% for SC, ST, and OBC candidates).
- Age Limit: Applicants must be between 18 and 35 years of age. Category-specific relaxations apply as per Uttar Pradesh state directives.
- Selection Stages: State Rank Merit List → Online Registration & Choice Locking → Seat Allotment Result → Fee Payment & College Document Verification.
Step-by-Step Application / Download Process
Candidates can check their seat allotment and download the official letter by following these steps:
- Visit the official website of UP DELEd at updeled.gov.in.
- Select the link for 'UP DELEd Admission / Counseling 2026' on the homepage.
- Click on the 'Seat Allotment Result' option.
- Enter your Registration Number, Course Name, and Date of Birth along with the security pin.
- Submit the credentials to view your allotted institute details.
- Pay the mandatory seat acceptance confirmation fee online and download your allotment letter for physical reporting.
Important Instructions & Advice
All candidates who have been assigned seats must report to their respective DIET or private training institutes within the stipulated timeframe. Ensure you carry all original educational certificates, caste certificate, identity proof, allotment letter, and passport-size photographs for the verification round. Failure to confirm the seat or present authentic original documents within the deadline will result in forfeiture of the allotted seat.
