The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has officially declared the written examination results for the Multi-Tasking (Non-Technical) Staff and Havaldar (CBIC & CBN) Examination 2025. Candidates who participated in the Computer Based Examination (CBE) can now check their qualifying status, category-wise cutoff marks, and merit lists. In addition to the CBT result, the commission has also released the schedule for the Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and Physical Standard Test (PST) required for Havaldar posts, which will take place across designated centers from 24 August 2026 to 31 August 2026.
Eligibility & Selection Criteria
Selection for the SSC MTS and Havaldar posts follows a multi-stage process designed to assess academic competence and physical standards:
- Computer Based Examination (CBE): The primary screening phase evaluating candidates across numerical ability, reasoning, English language, and general awareness.
- Physical Efficiency Test (PET) / Physical Standard Test (PST): Mandatory stage exclusively for shortlisted candidates of the Havaldar post.
- Document Verification: Final verification of identity, educational certificates, and category status.
- Medical Examination: Assessment to confirm physical fitness for government service.
For Havaldar PET, male candidates must complete a 1,600-meter walk within 15 minutes, whereas female candidates must complete 1 kilometer in 20 minutes.

Qualified candidates and interested applicants can check their result merit lists and PET schedule by following these instructions:
- Visit the official website of the Staff Selection Commission at ssc.gov.in.
- Navigate to the top menu bar and click on the Result tab.
- Select the Others category tab to find notifications related to MTS and Havaldar recruitment.
- Locate and click the PDF link titled Multi-Tasking (Non-Technical) Staff and Havaldar Examination 2025 Result or the PET Exam Date Schedule notice.
- Open the result PDF document and press Ctrl+F to search using your Roll Number or Name.
- Download and save the PDF file for future reference during physical testing and document verification.
Important Instructions & Advice
Candidates qualified for the Havaldar post should immediately start preparing for the PET/PST rounds. Ensure you carry your official admit card, original photo ID proof, educational certificates, and category documentation to the designated test venue. Arrive well in advance of the reporting time listed on your physical test admit slip.
