BTSC FSO Exam Pattern 2026

• All questions will be objective-type multiple choice, in both Hindi and English.
• Questions will be based on the Food Safety Officer syllabus set by the requisitioning department. The syllabus will be published separately on the BTSC website.
• The exam may be held in more than one shift, and normalization will be used for preparing the result.
• Each correct answer carries 1 mark, and each wrong answer carries negative marking of 0.25 marks.

BTSC Food Safety Officer Selection Process

• Written Competitive Exam (Computer Based Test, 100 Marks)
• Document Verification

The final merit list will be prepared on the basis of the written competitive exam. Selected candidates will be appointed after completing training as per FSSAI guidelines.

How to Apply for BTSC Food Safety Officer Recruitment 2026

• Visit the official website www.btsc.bihar.gov.in and open the Advt. No. 29/2026 application link.
• Register and fill in your details carefully. Your date of birth must match your Matriculation certificate.
• Enter your Aadhaar number as photo ID. If you do not have Aadhaar, use a PAN card, driving licence, or similar ID, and carry the same ID to the exam and counselling.
• Upload a recent photograph taken within 3 months, with a white background, eyes open, and no glasses.
• Upload the Matriculation certificate, degree marksheets and certificates, caste / non-creamy layer / EWS certificate, domicile certificate, disability certificate and ExSM certificate, as applicable. All certificates must be issued on or before 24 October 2026.
• Pay the Rs. 100/- application fee online through Debit Card, Credit Card, Internet Banking, or UPI.
• Submit the application form, download the fee receipt, and keep a printout of the completed application form.
