The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) releases the NEET PG 2026 Admit Card for registered candidates appearing in the postgraduate medical entrance examination. The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for Postgraduate (NEET PG) is the qualifying entrance test for admission to MD, MS, and PG Diploma courses across government, private, deemed, and central medical institutes nationwide.
Candidates must download their official hall ticket from the portal and carry a printed copy along with valid photo identification to the assigned exam center. The admit card contains essential particulars including candidate roll number, exam schedule, allotted center address, and exam guidelines.
Eligibility & Selection Criteria
To sit for the NEET PG exam and utilize the admit card, candidates must fulfill the eligibility conditions established by NBEMS and NMC:
- Educational Qualification: Candidates must hold a recognized MBBS degree or Provisional Pass Certificate issued by an institute recognized by the National Medical Commission (NMC).
- Internship Requirement: Completion of a compulsory 12-month rotatory internship on or before the eligibility cutoff date.
- Registration: Must possess permanent or provisional registration with the NMC or a State Medical Council (SMC).
- Selection Stage: Admission is based on performance in the computer-based test (CBT) followed by medical counseling conducted by MCC and respective state authorities.
Step-by-Step Application / Download Process
Registered candidates can download their hall ticket by following these steps:
- Visit the official NBEMS web portal at natboard.edu.in.
- Click on the NEET PG 2026 section on the homepage.
- Select the Applicant Login button.
- Enter your User ID and Password generated during application submission.
- Click on the Download Admit Card option visible in the dashboard.
- Save the PDF file and print a clear copy on an A4 sheet.
Important Instructions & Advice
Candidates should carefully check all details printed on their admit card, such as candidate name, category, exam center address, and photograph. Any discrepancy should immediately be flagged to the NBEMS helpdesk for correction.
On exam day, candidates must report strictly according to the time specified on the admit card. Ensure you carry an original government-issued photo ID (such as Aadhaar Card, PAN Card, Passport, or Driving License) along with a recent passport-size photograph to be pasted on the attendance sheet.
