UCO Bank has published a recruitment notification (Advt. No. HO/HRM/RECR/2026-27/COM-01) inviting applications from qualified technical professionals for Specialist Officer positions in Middle Management Grade Scale-II (MMGS-II). A total of 20 vacancies are available, divided equally between Manager – AI/ML Engineer and Manager – Cyber Security posts. Eligible candidates with relevant educational qualifications and work experience can submit their applications online starting from 29th August 2026 up to 18th September 2026.
Eligibility & Selection Criteria
Candidates applying for the UCO Bank Specialist Officer posts must meet the prescribed age limits and educational qualification criteria as on the cut-off date of 1st August 2026.
- Age Limit: Applicants must be between 25 and 35 years of age. Category-based age relaxations apply as per government rules.
- Manager – AI/ML Engineer: Requires a B.E./B.Tech/M.E./M.Tech degree in CS, IT, AI & ML, Data Science, or MCA with a minimum of 50% marks along with at least 3 years of relevant post-qualification experience.
- Manager – Cyber Security: Requires a B.E./B.Tech/M.E./M.Tech/M.Sc in CS, CSE, IT, Software Engineering, ECE, or MCA with at least 50% marks, valid professional cyber security certifications, and a minimum of 3 years of post-qualification experience.
- Selection Stages: Initial screening of applications, followed by an Online Written Test and/or Group Discussion, Personal Interview, Document Verification, and a Medical Examination.

Important Instructions & Advice
Selected candidates will undergo a mandatory probation period of 1 year of active service. Additionally, candidates must execute a service bond agreeing to serve the bank for a minimum period of 2 years, failing which they will be liable to pay ₹2,00,000/- (Two Lakh Rupees). Ensure all details filled in the application match your original documents, as any discrepancies found during Document Verification may lead to disqualification.
