The Indian Army has invited online applications from unmarried male and female candidates for the NCC Special Entry Scheme 125th Course (April 2027). This entry scheme offers a direct pathway for eligible National Cadet Corps (NCC) cadets to join the Indian Armed Forces as Short Service Commissioned (SSC) Officers in the regular Army without appearing for a written examination. Selected candidates will undergo training at the Officers Training Academy (OTA), Chennai, for a duration of 49 weeks.
