The Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) has issued an official update extending the online application submission deadline for the recruitment of Assistant, Junior Personal Assistant (JPA), and Upper Division Clerk (UDC) positions. Candidates aspiring to secure a career in India's premier space research agency now have additional time to submit their applications. Selected candidates will be placed at various ISRO centres and autonomous bodies across India in Pay Level-4.
Eligibility & Selection Criteria
Candidates applying for ISRO Assistant and JPA vacancies must ensure they fulfill all eligibility requirements specified in the official recruitment rules:
- Educational Qualification: Candidates must hold a Bachelor's degree from a recognized university with at least 60% marks or a CGPA of 6.32 out of 10. For Junior Personal Assistant posts, a Diploma in Commercial/Secretarial Practice with 60% marks along with a minimum typing/stenography speed of 80 words per minute is also accepted. Candidates must also possess basic computer operation skills.
- Age Limit: The upper age limit is 28 years for Unreserved candidates as on the closing date. Age relaxation is applicable up to 31 years for OBC candidates and 33 years for SC/ST applicants as per Central Government norms.
- Selection Stages: The recruitment selection procedure comprises a Written Examination (Objective Type) followed by a Skill Test / Computer Proficiency Test / Stenography Test for eligible shortlisted candidates.
