Railway Recruitment Cell, East Coast Railway (RRC ECOR) invites online applications for Trade Apprentice slots in various workshops and divisions across the zone. Candidates who possess a 10th pass qualification along with an NCVT/SCVT recognized ITI certificate in specified technical trades are eligible to apply. The apprenticeship training program provides practical technical experience in major workshops such as Carriage Repair Workshop Bhubaneswar, Khurda Road Division, Sambalpur Division, and Waltair Division.
Eligibility & Selection Criteria
Candidates must ensure they satisfy all academic, age, and physical standard requirements prior to submitting their online application forms.
- Educational Qualification: Passed 10th Class examination under the 10+2 system with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks from a recognized Board, along with National Trade Certificate (NCVT/SCVT) in relevant trade.
- Age Criteria: Candidates must have completed 15 years of age and must not have completed 24 years of age as of the cutoff date. Upper age relaxation applies to reserved categories as per government rules.
- Selection Process: Selection will be made purely on the basis of a merit list prepared by taking the average of percentage marks obtained in 10th Class and ITI examination. There will be no written test or interview.

- Click on 'New Registration' and fill in candidate details such as name, date of birth, mobile number, and email ID.
- Log in using credentials and complete the detailed application form.
- Upload clear scanned copies of required documents including passport photograph, signature, 10th mark sheet, and ITI certificate.
- Pay the required application fee via online payment gateway mode (if applicable).
- Submit the form and take a printout of the final confirmation page for future reference.

Applicants should verify all entered details carefully before final submission, as corrections may not be permitted post submission. Candidates shortlisted in the merit list will be called for Document Verification and a Medical Examination. Final engagement is subject to clearing standard medical fitness criteria prescribed by Indian Railways.
