The Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (BCECEB) has officially published the 1st Round Seat Allotment Result for the Diploma Certificate Entrance Competitive Examination (DCECE 2026). Candidates who appeared for the Polytechnic Engineering (PE), Para Medical Intermediate Level (PM), and Para Medical Matric Level (PMM) entrance examinations and participated in the online choice filling process can now access their provisional allotment letter.
The allotment status determines the institute and discipline assigned to each candidate based on their rank, preference, and category reservation. - Qualification: Candidates must have qualified the DCECE 2026 entrance examination with a valid rank card. For PE courses, Class 10th pass status is mandatory. For PMM, Class 10th pass is required, while PM courses mandate Class 12th (Science/Arts/Commerce as applicable).
- Selection Basis: Provisional seat allocation depends on candidate rank in the respective merit list, choices locked during the registration phase, seat availability, and statutory reservation rules of Bihar state.
- Upgradation Option: Candidates receiving an allotment can either opt for seat freeze to confirm their allotted seat or choose auto-upgradation for subsequent counseling rounds.

Candidates can check and download their provisional seat allotment result by following these simple steps:
- Visit the official online counseling portal of BCECEB at bceceboard.bihar.gov.in.
- Click on the link corresponding to DCECE 1st Round Seat Allotment Result (PE / PM / PMM).
- Log in using your registered Roll Number and Password.
- View your provisional allotment details and seat status displayed on the dashboard.
- If allotted a seat, choose whether to Accept (Freeze) or Opt for Upgradation.
- Download and print the provisional seat allotment order for document verification and college reporting.
Important Instructions & Advice
All candidates who have been allotted seats in the 1st round must report to the designated Nodal Verification Centre within the prescribed timeframe. Failure to report for document verification will result in the cancellation of the allotted seat. Ensure you carry original certificates, including Class 10th/12th mark sheets, DCECE Admit Card, Rank Card, Category Certificate, Permanent Residence Certificate, Passport-sized photographs, and the printed Allotment Letter.
