Eligibility & Selection Criteria
Candidates applying for the IOCL Executive Recruitment must ensure they meet the specific eligibility requirements specified for each discipline as of July 01, 2026:
- Graduate Engineer (Grade A): Requires a B.E. / B.Tech or equivalent degree in the respective engineering discipline with an upper age limit of 26 years.
- Officer – Marketing (Grade A): Requires an MBA or PGDBA with Marketing specialization, with an upper age limit of 28 years.
- Officer – Law (Grade A): Requires an LLB or 5-Year Integrated Law Degree along with 2 years of relevant post-qualification experience. Upper age limit is 30 years.
- Assistant Quality Control Officer (Grade A0): Requires an M.Sc in Chemistry with 2 years of relevant experience. Upper age limit is 30 years.
- Diploma Engineer (Grade E0): Requires a 3-Year Diploma in Engineering in the relevant branch with an upper age limit of 26 years.
Selection Stages: Candidates will be evaluated through a multi-tier selection procedure including a Computer Based Test (CBT), Group Discussion (GD) & Group Task (GT), Personal Interview (PI), Document Verification, and a Pre-Employment Medical Examination (PEME).

Important Instructions & Advice
Before submitting the application, candidates are advised to thoroughly verify their qualification, age, and document eligibility. Selected candidates will be required to sign a service bond upon joining. For Grade A positions, the service bond amount is ₹3,00,000 for General candidates and ₹50,000 for EWS/OBC/SC/ST/PwBD candidates. For Grade A0 and E0 positions, the service bond amount is ₹2,00,000 for General and ₹35,000 for reserved categories. All selected candidates must serve IOCL for a minimum of 3 years.
