The Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board (UPPBPB) has officially declared the final selection result for the UP Police Head Constable Motor Transport (HCMT) recruitment drive for 176 posts under Notice No. PRPB-4-12(37)/2025. This departmental recruitment process covers the recruitment/selection years from 2020 through 2025 (01-07-2020 to 30-06-2026). Candidates who appeared across the selection stages can now verify their selection status on the official board website.
Eligibility & Selection Criteria
The evaluation for the Head Constable Motor Transport role was conducted in three distinct stages in accordance with the UP Police Motor Transport Branch Subordinate Officer Service Rules, 2015:
- Written Examination: Held on October 5, 2025, for 3,950 eligible departmental candidates. Securing a minimum of 35 marks was mandatory.
- Practical Technical Efficiency Test: Conducted between April 28 and May 11, 2026, across four centers in Lucknow and Sitapur. Candidates were required to score at least 25 marks.
- Service Record Evaluation: Service records for qualifying candidates were evaluated via Logistics Headquarters.
The final merit list was prepared by adding marks obtained in the written exam and service record evaluations for the 176 vacancies across respective years.

Candidates can access their scorecard and final result online by following these simple steps:
- Go to the official website at uppbpb.gov.in.
- Find and click on the link titled 'Head Constable Motor Transport Result 2020-2025'.
- Enter your Personal Number (P.N.O.) and Date of Birth in DD/MM/YYYY format.
- Click on Submit to view your total marks and selection status.
- Save a soft copy and print the scorecard for official reference.
Important Instructions & Advice
Candidates should keep in mind that the window to check marks on the official portal will remain active for 10 days only, specifically from August 14 to August 23, 2026. Download your scorecard within this window as the link will be deactivated afterwards. The board has also clarified that no applications filed under RTI Act-2005 seeking marks details will be entertained separately. Selected personnel will be issued further instructions regarding joining and relieving through departmental communications.
